Historical Note

The mission of the Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund is to fund organizations that support the LGBTQ community through the pooled financial resources of individuals, corporations, and foundations.

The Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund (the Fund) was created to positively impact the underfunding of nonprofit organizations serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The Fund award grants to organizations that support the LGBT community, as well as bridge building initiatives that seek to cultivate alliances and support with the non-gay community in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
