Biographical / Historical
Aaron DeVon Boggs Jr. was born in Charlotte on December 31, 1918 to Aaron D. and Callie Mae Boggs. He attended school at Alexander Schools, Inc. in Union Mills, N.C. During World War II, he served stateside in the U.S. Army. Following his discharge, Boggs returned to Charlotte and worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service until his retirement. He died in Charlotte on October 31, 1995 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery. [For additional biographical information, see folder 1.]
