35 Linear Feet
Approximately 1800 maps, the majority of which are in rolls, acquired from the City of Charlotte. Most are in fragile condition, but still useable. The early history of many of Charlotte's neighborhoods can be studied through the maps. There are some maps which show tax assessments per lot, the names of the property owners, railroads, and highways.
