Includes 2 postcards relating to black troops during WWI. One card is identified as S.A.J.C. Company B, Wilberforce Ohio, Nov. 1918. 2 photo postcards of relatives of Joseph C. Price and photo postcard of African American solider in uniform. Postcards are in very good condition. Also includes small pamphlet, "Facts Regarding Enlistment in the United States Army," with stamp of Headquartiers North Carolina Recruiting
District.

Scope and Contents
These 5 carte de visites and tintypes came from early photographic album belonging to the Joseph C. Price family. One carte de visite was identified in the album as Augusta Janrain, the photographer was from Hartford Conn. The 2nd carte de visite was taken by Watson's Gallery, Raleigh, N.C., and depicts an older African American man. One of the tintypes was identified in the album as Mrs. Amanda Bowman of East Baton Rouge, La., the others are of a young African American man with walking stick...
