Facility Planning and Management
Series
Scope and Contents
The Facility Planning and Management series consists of building plans, correspondence, minutes, surveys, photographs, and other material related to planning, construction, and maintenance of the library building and spaces. A large portion of the series relates to the renovation and expansion prior to the library’s re-dedication in 2001 and covers topics such as budgeting, scheduling, design, furniture, signage, the re-dedication ceremony, etc. This Construction and Expansion subseries also includes the files of Mark Reynolds, Library Facilities Manager. Other files in the series relate to ambient noise, facts concerning library space, furniture, a Greek study hall space, the Halton Reading Room, off-site storage, shelving, telephones, and space reorganization. For more materials on the 2001 re-dedication, see the Events and Exhibits subseries in the Director’s Files series.
