Department of Social Work Records
Scope and Contents
The collection is divided into three series: Program Files, Post-Graduation Surveys, and Thomas S. Research Project.
The Program Files series contains candidacy application materials and progress reports for the Master of Social Work (MSW) program and accreditation self-study reports for both the MSW and the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) programs. Also included is a program objective evaluation plan for both programs. Files range from 1999 to 2008 and are arranged chronologically.
The Post-Graduation Surveys series consists of three survey reports of graduates from the College of Health and Human Services classes of 2001 to 2004. Files are arranged chronologically.
The Thomas S. Research Project series includes a set of monographs from the Longitudinal Study conducted as part of the research project by the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work. Represented are monographs 1 through 22 and 24 through 27 created from 1992 to 2001. Also included is a print-out of the project’s website.

Accessing the Collection
1.876 Linear Feet (3 boxes [1 record carton; 1 slim legal document case; 1 letter document case])
There are no folders 13 or 14. These contained print-outs of the 2007-2009 Graduate and Undergraduate catalogs, respectively, which were removed from the collection and recycled. University catalogs are available online.
