Abstract
Lester Todd, father of interviewer Tenille Todd, who grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina near Freedom Park, remembers playing in Little Sugar Creek as a child. He refers to Little Sugar Creek as "Sugar Creek," which was common in Charlotte for much of the 20th century.
Biographical Note
Les Todd was a 62-year-old man at the time of this interview, which took place at the home of Frankie Alexander in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and educated at Myers Park High School and North Carolina State University. He was employed as a farmer and citrus grower.
