Overview The collection consists of a small assortment of papers generated by the City of Charlotte concerning Freedom Park and the Charlotte Coliseum, and a much larger assortment of photographs, mainly of city officials (mayors and city council members from the mid 1960s to the late 1990s). Scope and Contents Collection consists of materials related to Harry Golden. Of particular note is correspondence between Klein and Golden, 1945-1979, as well as extensive correspondence regarding Golden. In addition, the collection includes promotional materials for the Carolina Israelite, photographs, a contract between Golden and Klein (1961). There is also an audio reel labeled Harry Golden.
